About Barb

 

Barb holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Sacred Heart College in Wichita, Kansas.  She has 15 hours of graduate work from Wichita University.  Barb is proficient in organ, choral conducting and liturgy.  As a Music Director, she planned and executed liturgical music for the weekend Masses and festival liturgies.  In addition, she recruited and managed all volunteer and, from time to time, professional musicians. Although she no longer directs the choir, she still inspires us all!

1965 – 1966   Wichita, Kansas,   Organist/Music Teacher at St. Anne’s School

1967 – 1968   Acquired 15 hours of Graduate School at Wichita University in Music Education

1967 – 1968    Ellinwood, Kansas,  Organist/Music Teacher at Grade School

1969 – 1980    Midwest City, OK,  Organist/choir Director at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church

1982 – 2024    Edmond, OK,  Choir Director of The Barbara Meiser Choir. 42 years
